Attack & Defence – a short history of RAF Langham and its Dome Trainer

An illustrated talk about Langham Dome and the people and missions flown out of the airfield during World War II.

The strange, dome shaped building lies tucked away on a disused airfield in a remote corner of North Norfolk – but Langham Dome's unprepossessing exterior hides one of Britain's vital WWII military secrets – and its influence is felt even to this day.

Mark is one of the Archivists at the Langham Dome Museum and also one of its visitor guides. He is a local artist and published author and with his fellow Archivist has collected, and still discover today, stories of vision, ingenuity, bravery, endurance and sacrifice related to the role of the Dome and its airfield.

The Dome Museum is a fully working restoration facility from WWII and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
