For our May meeting, 16 group members travelled to Norwich by train or car where we all met at nearby Pulls Ferry for light refreshments of coffee and biscuits.  This was then followed by a very interesting presentation with slides of the history of this local landmark set in the Cathedral grounds, as well as the surrounding area.  We finished with a splendid homemade lunch of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and scrummy cakes, all at a very modest cost.  Everything was home made by our hosts, members of The Girl Guides Association, who lease the building from the Cathedral.  They certainly made us very welcome, and we thanked them very much for our delightful visit.

All agreed it was a lovely day out and members were then free to go into Norwich or return home at their leisure.
