Natural World
Group meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday in the month (morning) at the Copeman Centre in Briston
Experience needed: None
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. The aim is to enjoy and learn more about the natural life in the North Norfolk area.
Oct, Nov, Dec, Feb, Mar and Apr meetings are held in the Copeman Centre, Briston. Meetings are varied but often involve a presentation from a member or guest speaker.
During the summer months field trips are arranged to sites of interest in Norfolk. These typically involve a leisurely stroll, led by a member or local warden / expert, looking at specific aspects of the local nature or wildlife in more detail.
Interests within the group are extremely varied, but all have a general interest in wildlife and the natural world. We have members interested specially in insects, butterflies, birds, mammals, moths, wildflowers …........ We are a very friendly and sociable group and no special expertise is required to join.
Membership is £3 per year plus £2 per meeting at the Copeman Centre (to cover the cost of hire and refreshments). The monthly field trips are free, unless entrance fees are payable.
The group has around 25 members.
