When you submit your application, you are agreeing to the following:
1. We need to advise you exactly how we process and store your data. The NNu3a is the data controller and the Membership Secretary/Group Contact is the data processor and the data protection officer.
We will always treat your personal information with great care and according to your wishes. The purpose for processing the information is for your membership of NNu3a only.
If you also subscribe to the “Third Age Matters” magazine from the Third Age Trust (TAT), your contact details will be passed to TAT to allow you to receive the magazine.
2. The source of our information has come from you. As a data subject you have detailed rights including: the right of access to your own personal data, right of correction, erasure and to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner (the ICO).
3. If you have agreed that NNU3A may claim Gift Aid on your behalf, you are a UK taxpayer and the total amount you pay in tax exceeds the total that you have Gift Aided across all organisations.
4.All members must abide by the Principles of the U3A movement. They must always act in the best interests of the U3A and never do anything to bring the U3A into disrepute. Members must abide by the terms and conditions of the Constitution. They must treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times. They must comply with and support the decisions of the elected Committee. They must advise the Committee of any change in their personal details.
