St Benet’s Abbey, artist John Sell Cotman – one of Norfolk’s first monasteries and the only one in England to survive the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 1530s. Included in a visit by the Local History Group in June 2019.
LOCAL HISTORY GROUP
The group meets on the 1st Thursday morning of the month (except January) from 10.00am – 12.00 noon and, when not out and about on visits, we meet at the Lighthouse Church, Cromer Road, Sheringham.
