French - Beginners Stage 1

The group is for complete beginners or for anyone who may have studied basic French in the past and wishes to improve their speaking and listening skills. 

The aim is for us to develop our confidence and competence in a supportive and friendly environment. We will focus on everyday situations, using the textbook Facon de Parler 1 (sixth edition) and the accompanying workbook. 

The group meets fortnightly and tasks are provided for group members to undertake at home in between meetings, should they wish to do so.
